Our Story

Texture By DCG formally known as Dinkins Curly Girls, founded June 1, 2020 by mom, Antoinette Dinkins and her two daughters, Camille and Cassidy Dinkins (the faces of our logo). The brand was created after Antoinette Dinkins decided to do the big chop and start her natural hair journey. She wanted to ensure that the products used on all of their hair were all natural, cruelty-free, healthy, and would help their hair to grow thick and long. 

The only way to be sure of her expectations were to create the products herself and that is exactly what she did. She experimented with her and the girls hair for 1 year before giving close family members and friends samples to be tested. People begin to ask her what she uses on their hair and after finding out it was naturally crafted by her, different people begin to request for her to make products for their hair and daughter's hair. Consistent requests of our Hair Products resulted in the launch of Texture By DCG Hair Products. 

Texture By DCG mission is to help others to enhance self care and self-confidence by feeling good about themselves and learning how to properly manage their hair using our natural and organic hair products.
